Following are a few things you need to know to get you started on the road to karting.
Firstly you will need club membership. Please download our membership form or contact our membership officer for assistance.
To apply for your Karting licence please go to www.karting.net.au click on the ‘Licence and Entries’ tab then click on ‘New Licence Application’ just follow the steps until the application has finalised and print off your application. Payment for your licence is online at time of application.
If you are applying for a new licence for a person who is under the age of 18yr and you are the Parent/Guardian then you will require a ‘Participants’ licence. This is also available by application from the same website. Just go through the same process as for ‘New Licence’ application and select ‘New Participants’ licence.
With all ‘New’ licence application there is a “Safety Training Video” to view and a “Safety in Karting” document to be read and understood. you will also need to allow time to complete an “Observed Driving session” at the track.
Both membership and licences are renewed annually so it important to remember to renew your membership prior to renewing your licence.
Buying your kart
It is very important to do some shopping around. We have listed on our website a number of Kart Shops associated with our club. Please feel free to browse through and contact them for assistance and guidance in the right direction for your needs.
