Fund Raising

Whilst the focus is racing on the weekend, behind the scenes and for many months leading up to the meeting there is an enormous amount of work that goes into fund raising for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. The event raised over $16,000 in 2008 and over $24,000 in 2009.

Fund raising includes The Big Morning Tea, cap sales, NBCF pin sales, raffles and dinners. Dig deep when your approached during the fund raising, it's all for a great cause.

Miss Charity Queen

Each year there is a Charity Queen event also aimed at raising funds for the NBCF. The 2011 NBCF Charity Queen will be crowned at a dinner to be held at the club on Saturday night before the race meeting so make sure you enter now. Contact the CDKC Office on 02 4722 3837 or Margo Morcom on 0414 826 307

The dinner is always a great night so don't miss out and there are no age restrictions on the entry into CDKC Miss Charity Queen for 2011. Entry forms are available by going to the Downloads section on the site and look under Membership.
