May 9 Race Meeting

Our next race meeting is on Sunday May 9 at Lithgow City Raceway. The event will be Round 4 of the Club Championship and will feature a 50 Lap Classic for Novice and Rookie classes. Entries are now open to all KNSW licence holders.

Race format for all classes, Qulaifying 6 min, 2 x 8 lap heats, 1 x 10 lap Pre Final, 1 x 12 lap Final.

The 50 lap Novice Rookie Classic will take place after the finals of class racing. The race entry is available to all Novice and Rookie drivers that have entered the race meeting. Karts for the 50 lapper must conform to KNSW regulations. The first 32 entries will be accepted. (a minimum of 20 entries must be received) The start grid or will be fastest class karts to the front and each class will be gridded in reverse order of the class final for that class.

Each class will be given a time handicap that is based on recent lap records at Lithgow City Raceway.

  • Rookie (1 lap handicap)
  • Novice

The track will be available for practice Friday May 7 and Saturday May 8 and as normal is open on all weekends plus other weekdays by prior arrangement.  Sign on and payment for practice is done electronically prior to coming to the track (details on the Practice Sign on page).

If you are a new licence holder and need an OLT. Please contact Russell to organise ([email protected]) We would prefer to do these Saturday. You will need to bring along the completed Driving-Test
