CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP POINT SCORE

POINTS SYSTEM FOR 2008

      1.      All financial members are able to accumulate points in the CDKC Class Championship at each eligible race meeting who comply with the conditions of clause 6.

2. Points are awarded across 7 championship rounds plus 1 away meeting as advised in the CDKC race calendar.

3. The driver’s worst round for the year can be dropped thereby allowing for members who miss a home or away meetings will remain competitive.

4. There will be no double points awarded during any meeting throughout 200

5. Points will be awarded as per the spreadsheet on this site and encourages competitors to be part of a well attended class.

6. For a member to be eligible for the class championship, each driver must dedicate one Full days work to the club. Parents, friends or guardians may work on behalf of any driver by simply nominating there efforts to the driver when completing their duties.

The recognition of one days work will be at the sole discretion of the Club President and will only be recognized for the following tasks on each race day.

To ensure your eligibility for the championship contact Glen Egan on 0412 208 426 to confirm your contribution to the running of the club. Simply indicate which job you wish to contribute to and on which race day. Jobs will be allocated on a first contact basis so don’t leave it until the end of the year when all positions may have already been taken.

Individuals may work on more than one day and may work on behalf of more than one driver.  

  A club members sign on book is kept in the race sectary’s office please sign on and this will establish your   work day, you will be issued with a receipt

7. Class Championship Trophies will be presented to the top 3 places in each class at the December meeting.

8. Provided the class qualifies as a class overall in accordance with point 9, all points will count regardless of the number of starters in the race.

9. For a class to be recognized for class championship recognition there must be at least 5 races with 5 starters within the year.

10. The winning senior and junior club Champions will be sponsored to the following NSW State Championship in the class they won there club championship to represent CDKC the sponsorship will a maximum value of $600.00 per class .Drivers who elect not to represent CDKC will automatically pass the sponsorship onto the next driver in line however they still retain there club championship position The sponsorship is not Redeemable for Cash

NON Members Visitors Championship

Non Club members are invited to participate in a visitors CDKC Championship for the senior & junior champion (junior covers Midget, Rookies & junior classes ) to be eligible you must compete in minimum of 4 rounds of the 2007 CDKC club championship round a trophy will awarded for both senior and junior champion
