There has been much discussion within the club and organising committee about the future of the iconic Ladies Trophy Event at Lithgow. The event has run yearly as a pilgrimage for Australia’s Lady Racers and has raised over $200 000.00 for Breast Cancer research.

Unfortunately in recent years participant numbers have dropped to a level that makes it hard to justify the effort required to run the event.

The event will not be run in 2019 but we will look forward to 2020 with a view that by running the event Bi Annually that we can get more support from Australia’s Lady racers. In past years we have had enormous support from girls traveling huge distance to support the event but is a big ask for that to happen year on year.

To successfully run the event we would like to see a minimum of 80 entrants, so we are hopeful that by having a break for 2019 will see more Lady’s and Girl’s putting the event on their calendar for 2020.
