This event is open to anyone that is interested in getting involved in Karting and a chance to drive a real race kart under controlled conditions.
Driver age groups are
- Cadets 6 years to 12 years (driving Cadet karts)
- Juniors 12 years to 16 years (Driving Junior KA4 Karts)
- Seniors 16 years up (Driving KA4, KA3 or TAG restricted Karts)
Karts will be provided on the day (on a pay for any damage basis and pre entry is mandetory) at a cost of $50.00 per driver. Or no charge if you are using your mates kart that has paid for practice on the day.
If you come at the invitation of a person suppling an approved kart there is no charge other than the practice fee for that kart (if the regular driver has paid for practice, no additional charge)
All drivers will be required to complete the Karting Australia Come and Try indemnity form and attend a safety and driving briefing before entering the track. There will be a briefing at 9.00am and 12.00pm.
Each driver will have 2 x 8 lap sessions on the track with coaching and assistance from experienced Karter’s.
