Please follow the link below to access all the most upto date information about access to the Picton circuit. As many karters have pointed out space is limited. WKRC have gone to a great deal of effort to make sure that there will be space for everyone, however if we dont follow these simple instructions it will make it difficult for everyone. Once again the Metro will be the biggest club event of the calendar, please help to make it an enjoyable event as well.
Metro Competitors
Please find attached various maps indicating parking and pit allocation areas for the Metro Invitational Event to be held 28/29 November at Picton.
You will note that the paddock area has been divided into four zones and each club participating has been allocated its own area.
There will be no vehicles allowed to remain within the paddock area, unless the vehicle is being used as conveyance of karts and equipment. ie Vans and utes with NO trailer.
Each competitor will be provided with a 6m X 3M pit space. You will also note some industry members who have indicated their attendance have been allocated certain pit bays.
Parking for vehicles is in two areas. One at the eastern side of the Picton kart circuit on the adjacent parcel of land. No parking on the hard stand at that location. Access to and from the Picton circuit is via a gate in the North eastern corner of the complex.
Parking is also available on a parcel of land opposite the BORAL plant in Maldon Bridge Road. Competitors are requested to remove their vehicles from the paddock area and park in the alotted area opposite BORAL. A mini bus is available to shuttle persons back to the track proper by calling the number posted at the bus shelter.
Entry to the circuit will be available from approximately 1.00pm on Friday the 27 November, however gates will be closed at 7.00pm
