Round 3 of the 2023 Club Championship will be held on Sunday April 30. All classes will have Qualifying, 3 heats of racing and a 15 Lap final. Entries are open March 20 and will close Thursday April 27.
Pit Allocations have been updated again at the close of entries.
Sunday 30th Timetable and race order
The event will feature the Junior 50 Lap classic PLUS separate class for C & D grade licenses for Junior Light & Heavy. The 50 lapper is open to all Juniors entered on the day, with handicaps set for each class/weight. Past 50 Lappers have had extremely close finishes. Junior Performance (scratch), Junior Light (15 seconds), Junior Heavy (1 lap). We will not be running Junior Performance in class racing, but you may elect to run this spec for the 50 Lapper (with same tyres used in Light or Heavy for heat racing).
Junior Light and Junior Heavy will also have separate classes for C & D grade license holders. If you are super keen for more laps, you can also enter the “open Junior Light or Heavy” class.
You can now book a reserved pit space when you enter details here. Please add your pit spot reservation at the same time as entering.
The track is available for practice Friday April 28 and Saturday April 29. All drivers must sign on for practice using the CDKC practice sign on at the top of the website home page. Race transponder and race numbers must be fitted for Saturday Practice. Please sign on for Saturday practice prior to 8.00am
If you need to hire a club transponder, please add the “transponder hire product” to your entry. We will allocate a transponder number to your entry, this will be available for pickup at the timing box from Saturday (we have a limited supply, so organize this early). Please make sure your kart has the correct “transponder mounting bracket.
If you have a new license and need to complete an OLT prior to racing, please complete your written driving test and forward this to [email protected]. You will need to successfully complete the on track observed practice on Saturday prior to racing and a briefing in the clubhouse at 12.00pm. You will need to be signed on for practice and have your race numbers and transponder fitted to your kart.
